Once the connection has been established WS_FTP will close the dialogue box and switch to the main window. The files on the local system will appear on the left, while the files on the hosting server will appear on the right. There are no files in hosting directory in the screenshot below.

Files can be moved from the local system to the hosting server by high lighting them and click on the arrow button found in the milddle of the screen. This is the same for getting files from the server too, just click the other arrow button pointing to the local side.
